Cassandra Minnifield is an associate attorney at Sefton Kelly Family Law. Cassandra takes pride in her ability to be both compassionate and a zealous advocate for clients in all areas of family law. Cassandra’s greatest reward is being a source of comfort and information during some of the most difficult times in her clients' lives. She enjoys educating her clients, and in doing so, to tailor her representation to each individual client and his or her unique situations.

Cassandra obtained her bachelor's degree in political science from Northern Illinois University. She obtained her juris doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law. While attending both Nothern Illinois University and Southern Illinois University, Cassandra participated on the mock trial teams, where she competed all over the country and held various leadership positions. Cassandra was also Administrative Editor for the Southern Illinois University School of Law, Law Review Journal. During her time in law school, Cassandra was awarded for her high level of achievement in trial advocacy and volunteered more than 200 hours of her time providing legal assistance to indigent residents. Cassandra continues her level of academic excellence by preparing monthly case law updates for the DuPage County Bar Association Family Law Committee, which allows her to stay current in changes in Illinois family law.

When she is not in the courtroom or the office, Cassandra enjoys watching football, playing with her pets, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family. She is also a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, and her goal is to continue being an active member in the legal community.
