Robin C. Slattery is an associate attorney at Sefton Kelly Family Law, where her practice focuses exclusively on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, spousal support, asset division, and litigation. Robin understands that family law matters often involve significant emotional and practical challenges for families, and she is committed to helping clients move through difficult transitions with steady guidance, thoughtful communication, and a clear understanding of the legal process.

Robin is known for her calm and grounded presence with clients. She focuses on helping families navigate difficult situations while remaining attentive to each client’s individual priorities and goals for resolution. Whether through negotiation or litigation, Robin works to help clients move forward with practical solutions and a steady approach during uncertain times while helping them prepare for what comes next.

Robin earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Indiana University and received her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, where she earned a competitive position on the Moot Court Society and discovered her passion for family law.

After graduating from law school, Robin began practicing in DuPage County with a firm focused exclusively on family law. She later took a hiatus from practicing law to raise her four children, giving her firsthand experience with the responsibilities, challenges, and changing dynamics families experience over time. Robin also served her community through her work with DuPage Legal Aid, where she represented hundreds of clients in domestic violence, stalking, and family law matters.

Robin continued her commitment to service as a member of the Board of Directors for the DuPage Legal Aid Foundation for several years. She is also passionate about advocating for children and has represented children’s interests in family law cases as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem.

A Naperville resident for more than 25 years, Robin enjoys spending time with her adult and almost-adult children, extended family, and many lifelong friends.
